Ms Donna Binns – TfNSW noted the following:

  • The ROL for this event has not been received by Transport for review.

·        The TGS has been reviewed and addresses the issues from previous years about pedestrian movements across the highway.

Recommendation

That:

1.    The Chief Executive Officer (Director City Services) be advised that the Shoalhaven Transport Forum has reviewed the proposed Traffic Management Plan (TMP) for the Community Expo at Wandandian as per Plan No. D25/406510; and recommends the following amendments:

a.    Align the dates of the Traffic Management Plan (TMP) and the Traffic Guidance Scheme (TGS).

b.    Prioritise vehicle flow while ensuring pedestrian safety by grouping crossings to reduce stoppage frequency and increase crossing efficiency.

2.    The recommendation be approved by the Director City Services under delegated authority from Shoalhaven City Council - refer MIN21.411

That:
