TC23.10     Parking Restrictions - Bolong Road - Coolangatta (PN 3742)

Recommendation (Item to be determined under delegated authority)

That:

1.    the Chief Executive Officer (Director City Services) be advised that the Shoalhaven Traffic Committee has no objection to the proposed Parking Restrictions at Bolong Road, Coolangatta as per Plan No. D23/55907.

2.    The recommendation be approved by the Director City Services under delegated authority from Shoalhaven City Council - refer MIN21.411

RESOLVED (By consent)

That:

1.    the Chief Executive Officer (Director City Services) be advised that the Shoalhaven Traffic Committee has no objection to the proposed Parking Restrictions at Bolong Road, Coolangatta as per Plan No. D23/55907.

2.    The recommendation be approved by the Director City Services under delegated authority from Shoalhaven City Council - refer MIN21.411

TC23.11     Lifting of Bridge Load Limit Restrictions - Shoalhaven Local Government Area (PN 3744)

Recommendation (Item to be determined under delegated authority)

That the Shoalhaven Traffic Committee note that the following bridges have been replaced with new structures. As such the temporary load limits will be removed:

a.    Crookhaven River (Archgate) Bridge – Culburra Road, Pyree

b.    Petty’s Bridge – Croobyar Road, Croobyar

c.    Bengalee Creek Bridge - Koloona Drive, Bangalee

d.    Henry’s Bridge – Main Road, Cambewarra

e.    Chisholms Creek Bridge – Bundewallah Road, Bundewallah

f.     Crookhaven Creek Bridge – Mayfield Road, Pyree

TC23.12     Traffic Facilities - Prince Alfred Street - Albert Street - Berry (PN 3746)

Ms Nicole Brodie – TfNSW – advised that TfNSW supports the option of the installation of “No Left / Right Turn” signage on the approaches on Albert Street.

That:

1.    the Chief Executive Officer (Director City Services) be advised that the Shoalhaven Traffic Committee has no objection to the proposed Traffic Facilities at Prince Alfred Street, Berry as per Plan No. D23/68953.

2.    The recommendation be approved by the Director City Services under delegated authority from Shoalhaven City Council - refer MIN21.411

TC23.13     Proposed Bus Restrictions - Booderee Avenue - Hyams Beach (PN 3747)

That:

1.   The Chief Executive Officer (Director City Services) be advised that the Shoalhaven Traffic Committee has no objection to the proposed bus restrictions on Booderee Avenue, Hyams Beach and associated guide signage, as per Plan No D23/81051.

2.   The recommendation be approved by the Director City Services under delegated authority from Shoalhaven City Council - refer MIN21.411.

That:

1.   The Chief Executive Officer (Director City Services) be advised that the Shoalhaven Traffic Committee has no objection to the proposed bus restrictions on Booderee Avenue, Hyams Beach and associated guide signage, as per Plan No D23/81051.

2.   The recommendation be approved by the Director City Services under delegated authority from Shoalhaven City Council - refer MIN21.411.

TC23.14     Proposed Temporary Traffic Control Measures - Anzac Day March 2023 - Princes Highway - Milton (PN 3748)

1.   The Chief Executive Officer (Director City Services) be advised that the Shoalhaven Traffic Committee has no objection to the proposed temporary road closures to enable the ANZAC Day march and commemorative service in Milton, held on Tuesday 25 April 2023, as per Plan No D23/82135.

2.   The recommendation be approved by the Director City Services under delegated authority from Shoalhaven City Council - refer MIN21.411.

That:

TC23.15     Proposed Bridge Load Limit - Swan Lake Bridge - The Springs Road - Cudmirrah (PN 3749)

Ms Nicole Brodie – TfNSW – suggested that it is worth noting that freight operators which exceed the load limits can apply for an exemption in advance.

Recommendation (Item to be determined under delegated authority)

That the Chief Executive Officer (Director City Services) be advised that the Shoalhaven Traffic Committee accept this report for information only and have no objection to the proposed load limit signage for the Swan Lake Bridge along the Springs Road, Cudmirrah (per Plan No: D23/86807).

GENERAL BUSINESS

 

TC23.16     Additional Item - Schedule Extra-Ordinary Meeting - Lazy Mountain Festival

Ms Nicole Brodie - TfNSW – advised the Committee that class two (2) events should be coming through the Traffic Committee for approval. Ms Brodie further advised that the Lazy Mountain Festival is a class two (2) event scheduled for 8 April 2023, and as such, recommended an Extra-Ordinary meeting be scheduled so the Committee can review the event.
