1. This
report be received for information.
2. The
Committee note that, based on discussions with the Southern District Engineer
and Transport for NSW, it has been decided to not proceed with the proposed
centreline modifications. Additional W2-206 ‘CAUTION DRIVEWAYS’
warning signage on both approaches along Bawley Point Road will be considered
to enhance driver awareness and improve road safety at this location.

Bridge Project - Traffic Switch

regarding an up-coming traffic switch on the Nowra Bridge. The information

TC23.9 Additional
Item - Traffic Congestion - Cambewarra Rd
|
|
On behalf of Clr John Wells, Clr Patricia
White raised a safety concern regarding traffic on Cambewarra Rd, around the
Bomaderry Indoor Sports Centre and High school. Clr White explained that in
the afternoon’s there has been major traffic congestion due to
conflicting traffic between buses using the Sports Centre to turnaround, parents
picking up their children, and children crossing the road to the Sports
Centre.
Ms Simone King advised that
she would get in contact with Kennedy’s Bus Service to discuss the
issue and contact David Pieresko - Senior Civil Engineer –
following the discussion.
