Details
I write to provide the Council and community with an update of the process currently underway for the recruitment of a Chief Executive Officer for Shoalhaven City Council.
Following the Council’s resolution of 25 February 2025 (MIN25.91) to appoint a selection panel for the recruitment process, I can advise that the preliminary administrative steps of the panel have concluded, the position is currently being advertised and applications are open and may be accessed at the following location: https://sbc.net.au/executive-role/shoalhaven-ceo/
Any enquiries relating to the position are to be directed to the appointed Recruitment Consultant for this process - Stephen Blackadder Consulting.
Together with selection panel members and Mr Blackadder, I will continue to progress this recruitment with the aim to provide the Council with a report concluding the process and recommending a candidate for appointment at an Ordinary or Extraordinary Meeting of the Council in late July 2025.
I will continue to provide reports to the Council providing further updates and dealing with any relevant administrative arrangements if and when they arise.
