Recommendation

That Council approve a budget of up to $8000 to undertake a preliminary desktop analysis of transport availability in the Shoalhaven with the aim to identify the gaps in the transport offering and matching Federal and State funding opportunities.

Details

Transport in the Shoalhaven has consistently been raised as an issue for Council to address. Transport is a multi-governmental responsibility with Council as the main delivery point of transport infrastructure. Council was recently contacted by Robert Gibbons with an offer to assist with setting the scene for future actions in this space by preparing an analysis of the current data.
